Nuviderm At Home Tattoo Removal:Month 4 (Third Application) *UPDATE*

This last application was easy to slack on the updates because the healing process was quick and uneventful (just how I like it). Literally after the first week blog-post the scab peeled off (with the help of tubing and jet-skiing) within the following 1-2 weeks (from week 1 application 3 post). There was no swelling, [...]

Nuviderm At Home Tattoo Removal:Week One (Third Application)

The area seems to have dried out. Although a typical scab has not formed a rough skin has. It feels similar to what I remember dried Elmers glue feels like. There is no pain or discomfort of any kind. The skin it tight, and a little area has cracked due to ankle movement from walking.
I [...]

Nuviderm At Home Tattoo Removal: Day Four (Third Application)

The area looks pretty nasty. It looks like a big blister, but there isn’t any fluid in it. It does not hurt, but is sensitive to the touch and stings if it rubs up against my pants or bed covers.
This is what day four looked like during my second application (the one that brought trouble):

Nuviderm At Home Tattoo Removal: Day Two (Third Application)

The red isn’t as vibrant today. There is no pain at this point. Last application I was worried right when I saw how red the area was after applying Nuviderm, and that is not the case here, yet anyways. I will do a side by side comparison at 4-Days to show the differences between the [...]

Nuviderm At Home Tattoo Removal: Day One (Third Application)

I finally broke down and applied the third layer of Nuviderm today. I did the application quite different this time around. Instead of sticking with 50 some percent strength like before I increased the strength per layer. Also instead of putting on 12-20 layers of TCA I put on 3. Instead of leaving it one [...]

3-5-2009 Nuviderm Tattoo Removal Update

I got a better picture of how my tattoo currently looks. Here is a comparison of the before and after.
(Please excuse my paleness, Minnesota winters are rough!)

Update! February 2009: Nuviderm Tattoo Removal Process.

It’s been a few months since my last update, so I thought I should take some time to do that today. I would have to say that the draw back right now is: no matter how much lotion I use the tattooed area always looks dry and scaly (only visually not to the touch). I [...]

Is this blog really that confusing??

So I really don’t know if this blog is really that confusing to follow along? If I got a dollar for every time I received a comment requesting before and after pictures, a current photo, or having someone give me advice on how to use Nuviderm before I get started (is it really that tough [...]

I have to apologize, the lighting in all my pictures seem to be different, which show the color differently. But I hope they can still give you an idea of the entire healing and application process.
The black is coming out of the tattoo. Unfortunately the area is [...]

Nuviderm At Home Tattoo Removal: Update! 3 months (second application)

Let me begin by apologizing for how long it has taken me to post an update. Between packing, moving, unpacking and school; I just haven’t had the time to do much of anything.
The scab that formed over the tattoo completely came off (with the help of tubing on the lake) the second week of August. [...]
