Is this blog really that confusing?? November 7, 2008

So I really don’t know if this blog is really that confusing to follow along? If I got a dollar for every time I received a comment requesting before and after pictures, a current photo, or having someone give me advice on how to use Nuviderm before I get started (is it really that tough to see that I have been tracking this process for almost 7 months now?) I also posted the exact instructions that Nuviderm sent me, I am very aware what the instructions state. My blog is current and before/after pictures are mostly on every single posting I have posted.

The URL below should show ALL the Nuviderm blogs at once….I really hope this helps, and if you are still confused…please don’t waste both of our time by making a pointless comment requesting the previously stated items.

I hate to be mean…but really? This shouldn’t be that complicated.

I am more than happy to answer any questions or to share advice, but please try and read through every post before commenting… Thanks.

The blog is not that confusing. It is actually the best description of the process I have found. I have a tattoo I am trying to remove with some TCA solution (not a commercial tattoo removal cream). I was looking for some descriptions of what the process should look like and this was the most detailed description I found.

I am really glad to hear this. This post was kind of a rant. But that happens haha. Let me know if you have any questions.

I agree that this is the most detailed and informative description that I have found online. It’s also the most honest! I don’t think the website is confusing at all, unless you are like me and make assumptions. I assumed the months would load oldest info first- so one can scroll down and read in order and they actually load the most up to date blog first. Apart from that I didn’t see anything confusing about the blog.
Thanks to your blog I am well prepared to start the procedure, I just haven’t got the guts, yet.
Thanks for all the help and information.

I have found this to be the best, trustworthy information about the process on the net too! I’m keen to hear how you get on if you do another peel.

I’m onto my second 50% TCA peel of tattoos on my shoulders and one of them is starting to show progress. I’ve done my peels much closer together (a little over a week apart), although I wouldn’t recommend this. I think I’m only able to do them so close together because the tattoo areas are quite small.

Ive just done my second peel and it seems much much worse than my first. its only the third day and it is peeling. but not a dry peeling, just peeling and the skin underneath hurts like a !@#$% did yours try to peel right away? sorry if you already stated this, I kinda just skimmed over your stuff, Im at work and am not really supposed to be looking at anything other than bank related items, this is the only place i have access to internet also. if you get a minute please email me and let me know sonjabadger@yahoo.com

Hey your blog is great! It’s been really helpful and informative. I just ordered some nuviderm and you have experience so I have to ask.. did you ever figure out how to keep it from drying without adding layers?

  7. tinastier Says:

Sara- I honestly can’t say I have figured that out. I would have been told both to let it dry, and not to let it dry (which requires either another layer of Nuviderm or washing it off). So, my plan for my next application will be to get it at a high enough level to frost right off the bat without having to put tons of layers on. Than instead of letting it dry at all, I am going to neutralize it and wash it off. Please let me know if you need any advice! Or, if you already applied, hows it going?

Sonja- Sorry this has taken me so long to reply. I have been really slacking as keeping up with this blog and posts. I hope everything is better now. But if it isn’t I highly recommend going to the doctor. My first application hurt, but it didn’t HURT!! If you get my drift. The second application I did HURT like heck and it was all gooey and gross; it wasn’t infected at all but it wasn’t healing properly either (kind of sounds like what is happening with you). The doctor gave me some antibiotics and silver-sulfa cream and after that everything has been golden. Hope that helps ya.

Matt- Hi, I just wanted to point out that you brought up a really great point! Everyone needs to take into account where on their body they are putting Nuviderm on. My ankle is also thinner skin, which can also be why my results are more dramatic with scarring and healing problems, and because my tattoo is kind of big. I hope everything is going well for you and your removal process!
